We met on a volunteer construction project in our teens, and got married a few years later. We soon realized that we wanted to put our passion for quality work and the skills we grew up with to use, working together every day to bring our customers high quality excavation services in Kittitas County.

Starting out in 2017 with the original family dump truck, we have worked extremely hard to build our business from the ground up. We are also able to continue our volunteer work together, which was our main motivation in deciding to work for ourselves, and where it all started in the first place!

Long Story Short…

“I grew up working in the family business of excavation, specializing in septic system installation. I also went to school for diesel mechanics and worked in a diesel shop for a few years.

Those diesel mechanic skills came in handy as we built our business, rebuilding older equipment one piece at a time until we had a dependable fleet. We started out with my family’s original dump truck, saving it from scrap and restoring it over the winter.

It’s the same truck that I rode in with my dad when I was just a kid in my carseat, and now our daughter is riding with me in her carseat!”

“I grew up in Astoria, Oregon helping out in my family’s custom cabinet shop, and then moved on to welding and making custom metal signs.

Aaron and I met on a volunteer construction project, got married (in the same building we were working on when we met in fact!) and now we’re living our dreams- working together as a husband & wife team, along with our daughter.

I’m so proud of all the hard work Aaron has put into restoring old broke down equipment, it goes from something nobody else would look twice at to it’s original beauty when it rolled off the production line in 1970!”

Daddy’s little grade checker…

We recently welcomed our daughter Remi!

She’s the other main reason we started this business. We’ve always wanted to take our kids to work so they can be with us, and be raised around good & honest ethics.

We want to teach her she can accomplish anything that she works hard at!
